We welcome students from all backgrounds to join the Indus Valley School community in Gauri, Raipur, Sitamarhi.

Our admission process is designed to be transparent, fair, and stress-free. We look for students who are curious, enthusiastic, and ready to learn. While academic performance is considered for higher classes, for Nursery and Primary wings, we focus on the child's interaction and readiness for school.

Note: Admissions for the academic session 2026-27 are currently Open for Nursery to Class 9.

How to Apply

A simple 4-step process to secure your seat

1. Registration

Collect the form from the school office or download it online. Submit it with basic details.

2. Interaction

For Nursery/KG: Casual interaction.
For Class 1+: Basic written assessment.

3. Verification

Submission of required documents (Birth Certificate, Transfer Certificate, Photos).

4. Payment

Pay the admission fee to confirm the seat. Welcome to the family!

Age Criteria

For admission to the academic session 2025-26, the age limits as of March 31st are:

L.K.G 4+ Years
U.K.G 5+ Years
Class 1 6+ Years

Documents Required

  • Birth Certificate (Issued by Municipal Corporation/Panchayat)
  • 4 Passport size photographs of the Student
  • 2 Passport size photographs of Parents/Guardians
  • Transfer Certificate (TC) from previous school (Class 2 onwards)
  • Report Card / Marksheet of the previous class
  • Aadhar Card copy of Student and Parents

Yes, we have a fleet of safe, GPS-enabled buses covering Gauri, Raipur, Sitamarhi town, and nearby villages. Please contact the office for specific route details.

For Pre-Primary (Nursery to KG), there is no written exam, only a friendly interaction. From Class 1 onwards, a basic assessment in English and Math is conducted to understand the child's learning level.

Yes, we offer a tuition fee concession for the younger sibling if two or more children from the same family are enrolled.
